Absolutely Outdoors was the only company that responded to our initial call for a contractor within a reasonable amount of time. We had a pavilion and small fountain built by them recently. It is difficult for us to complete projects because of our work & travel schedule. We were able to do almost all communication and review of project details by email. This helped a lot and allowed us to finish a project that we have discussed for years. Their office staff was also extremely helpful through the process.
Absolutely outdoors completed my pool, outdoor kitchen and backyard landscaping eight years ago. I’m actually about to ask them to do another job for me on the backyard. We told Gary what we wanted and he drew it up…. When you use quality products and professional landscapers, you get a better result. With any big build like this there will always be issues and concerns and things they have to go back and fix based on the buyers wants. (I wasn’t too picky but I had my share of changes). The good thing is that their response to concerns or issues was 100%. Everything got resolved and they left us with a smile. I still have them do the lawn and small projects. After 8 years, we’ve had a few one-inch glass tiles coming off the pool under our waterfall… normal wear and tear. I don’t consider that a big deal. I will continue to use them for my large outside projects.

Absolutely Outdoors (AO) did a wonderful job on our backyard. We have a relatively small backyard and felt having something both aesthetic and functional would be challenging. The plan AO created was very original and did exactly what we hoped. All the work was done professionally, with special care given to insure that all the “hardscape” of the project (e,g, bricks, mortar) were exact matches to our house.

As the Vice President of The Woodlands High School Baseball Team booster club, I asked Absolutely Outdoors to provide a design and quote for an outdoor concession stand seating area adjacent to our field. Upon completing his design Josh presented it in 3D, with different angles and perspectives. The artistic uniqueness of his vision blew away the competing two company’s designs, and there was no question, Absolutely Outdoors would be chosen for the job. AO started on schedule and worked through several weather challenges to deliver a product that exceeded our expectations. The raised seating area screams quality, and the surrounding landscaping frames it perfectly. From the first day we met with Josh he expressed an interest in supporting the local community, and he certainly put his money where his mouth is, doing the job at his cost and donating the profit as a contribution to the community.

We hired Absolutely Outdoors to design & build our pool and porch extension. They had the most impressive designs out of all 3 companies we interviewed. It was in fact a very detailed project and they took the time to consider every last detail which was my biggest concern from the beginning. I found all their employees to be courteous and professional throughout the process.
